Become a Cheetah

Luo Qiao didn’t have time to wonder if cheetahs were naturally prone to attracting hooligans Regardless, he had no intention of being pinned down by a leopard out of nowhere.
"Let me go!"
Luo Qiao curled up tightly, his tail pressed firmly against his back. As long as he resisted, Monty wouldn’t be able to have his way easily.
"Not willing?" Monty tilted his head, sniffing Luo Qiao. "Or do you prefer I do it the cheetah way?"
I don’t want either!
"Though I don’t mind, if we do it the cheetah way… do you really want to get beaten up?" Monty nipped Luo Qiao’s ear. "I really don’t understand cheetah preferences…"
Monty stood up, lifting one of his front paws. The broad, soft pad of his foot concealed sharp claws, but even so, a swipe from him would leave Luo Qiao in pain for a while.
"Speaking of which, cheetah courtship is quite interesting."
Interesting my foot!
Luo Qiao took advantage of Monty’s momentary relaxation to quickly roll to the side, trying to escape. But he forgot they were in a tree, and tragedy struck, he plummeted straight down…
Before Luo Qiao could figure out a way to land safely, his tail suddenly hurt, causing the fur on the back of his neck to stand on end. His four legs flailed involuntarily in mid-air, making him look like a puffed-up cat caught by its tail.
Though this "cat" was a bit oversized…
Monty shifted forms the moment Luo Qiao began to fall, intending to catch him but accidentally grabbing his tail instead. Watching Luo Qiao’s position, he trying not to laugh was a real struggle.
Since meeting this strange evolved male cheetah, Monty had probably laughed more in this short time than he had in the past few years combined.
Monty pulled Luo Qiao back up the tree by his tail, then grabbed him and held his two front paws.
"Still daring to move around recklessly?"
Luo Qiao, still shocked and scared, didn’t even notice Monty’s current form. He simply lowered his head and bit Monty’s arm.
Before he could put much force into it, Monty grabbed the fur on the back of his neck, hismagnetic voice coldly transmitted into his ears: "If you dare bite down, I’ll have my way with you right now."
As he spoke, his hand slid down Luo Qiao’s neck. The smooth fur of the cheetah seemed to please him, and he licked Luo Qiao’s ear while stroking him.
"How about it?"
Only then did Luo Qiao realize Monty had shifted forms. He stiffly turned his head and was met with an impossibly beautiful face—arched eyebrows, pale golden eyes, crimson lips, and long golden-brown hair cascading over his shoulders.
There was a subtle hint of allure in his expression.
But to Luo Qiao, this beautiful man looked anything but good!
Moreover, if Monty had his way with him in this form…
Wouldn’t that be straight-up bestiality?!
Nonsense! Nothing that extreme!
Luo Qiao closed his eyes, steeled his heart, and let go of Monty’s arm. But in the next second, he kicked out with his hind legs, aiming for a certain sensitive spot that would make any man wince.
Luo Qiao didn’t expect to actually hurt Monty. He just wanted to seize the chance to escape.
Sure enough, like Oros, Monty had never encountered a cheetah who would do such a thing. In the brief moment of shock, Luo Qiao broke free from his grip.
To avoid having his tail grabbed again during the fall, he shifted forms mid-air, using the cheetah’s natural physical advantages to land safely on the ground.
Looking up at the leopard still perched on the tree branch, Luo Qiao bared his teeth, his amber eyes glaring angrily.
"You dare mess with me again and again? Just you wait!"
Seeing Monty about to leap down from the tree, Luo Qiao turned and ran without hesitation. A cheetah’s stamina and strength couldn’t even match a female leopard’s. If Monty caught him again, there’d be no escape.
Every minute wasted here increased the danger to Luo Sen and Luo Rui. Life on the savannah was full of dangers, and with the lion pride back, Luo Qiao didn’t want to waste another second.
Fortunately, Luo Qiao’s speed was top-notch. As he ran, he shifted forms, and within a few hundred meters, he had left Monty far behind.
Monty jumped down from the tree, leaning against the trunk as he watched Luo Qiao run off. Finally, he couldn’t hold back his laughter, pounding the tree trunk as he laughed. Truth be told, he had only meant to tease the cheetah, but he hadn’t expected such an amusing reaction.
The female leopard, Beatrice, lay comfortably on another tree not far away, resting her head on her front legs with her hind legs dangling naturally on either side of the branch.
Her two five-month-old cubs were hidden in the rocks behind the tree. She had watched the entire scene from start to finish and let out a snort.
Monty, having laughed enough, turned his head and locked eyes with Beatrice. Their identical pale golden eyes met, but in the end, Beatrice was the first to look away.
The two young leopard cubs were playing with a hare among the rocks, a gift from Beatrice. Once a female leopard begins raising cubs, her habits change.
To avoid lions and hyenas that are active at night, Beatrice had also started hunting more during the day.
In fact, lions and hyenas were rare in Monty’s territory. Occasionally, when Monty caught large prey, he would share some with Beatrice and the two cubs. This was almost unheard of behavior for other male leopards.
If it weren’t for this male leopard’s peculiar interests, he might have been a decent mate.
But as things stood, Beatrice just wanted to raise her two cubs quickly and then move on to find a new chapter in her life. However, securing a place in another male leopard’s territory would inevitably mean fighting with the resident female leopards. Still, that was better than her current situation.
It was pitiful. She was only five years old, strong, healthy, with smooth fur and youthful beauty. Yet, she felt like her life was dragging on like an old woman’s.
Perhaps thinking of the root cause of her predicament, Beatrice muttered under her breath, "Monty, I curse you to always see but never taste!"
Luo Qiao ran toward the swamp under the scorching sun.
A wildcat resting in the grass was startled by the cheetah who rushed past like a gust of wind. It quickly called its kittens back to the nest and looked around, puzzled. There were no antelopes or hares around, so why was this evolved cheetah running like mad?
While Luo Qiao was making his way to the swamp, the two cheetah cubs ran into trouble.
Several lion cubs from the pride had wandered into the area where the cheetah cubs were hiding while playing. A lioness had followed to keep an eye on them.
Lion cubs, growing up in a pride, were fearless, and at this age, they were especially playful. The lionesses faced the universal challenge of all mothers: how to get their children to settle down and sleep.
The two cheetah cubs, hiding in the reeds of the swamp, watched nervously as the lions approached. They weren’t afraid of the cubs, but they were worried about the lioness following them. Without Luo Qiao around, if the lioness discovered them, they would be doomed.
The lion cubs were getting closer. Just as the two cheetah cubs huddled together, their ears flattened in fear, an older lioness approached. The cubs seemed to listen to her well and obediently followed her back to where the pride was resting. The other lioness breathed a sigh of relief.
"Tini, thank goodness. Besides Aunt Tina, they listen to you the most."
"Rosa, you’re just too soft on them."
"Am I the only one spoiling them? Who was it that just chased Oros away?"
"Alright, fine. Hey, Effie, stop running over there!"
The lionesses chatted as they walked away. Luo Sen and Luo Rui remained motionless in the reeds. The swamp masked their scent, preventing the lioness from detecting them, but it also made it harder for Luo Qiao to find them.
The cubs didn’t dare leave their hiding spot. They could only wait, hoping Luo Qiao would find them soon.
