Chapter 33 BAC

Become a Cheetah

o0o

Parson and Jairo seized the opportunity, taking Luo Qiao and the two little cheetahs away from the bushes silently.

The paw pads under the big cat's paws concealed their footsteps, but they were still discovered by the mother rhinoceros.

Fortunately, the mother rhinoceros was more wary of the other rhinoceros at the moment, believing that the rhinoceros was more threatening than the cheetahs, so the Parson brothers and Luo Qiao and his sons were able to escape.

As for whether the mother rhinoceros would fight with the other rhinoceros, the cheetahs were not interested at all.

Luo Qiao knew the truth that curiosity killed the cat, and solemnly warned the two little cheetahs that rhinoceroses were very dangerous, and it was necessary to be cautious when watching! Don't go near these dangerous big guys in the future.

Luo Sen and Luo Rui still missed the rhinoceros's meat mountain.

Looking at the two little cheetahs' big eyes full of desire, Luo Qiao could only look at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle like an ostrich. Children, your father has no ability to fulfill your wishes.

If you want to eat rhinoceros, wait until your father is reborn as a lion...

Luo Qiao's tangled appearance fell into Parson's eyes. The male cheetah, who was interrupted by the rhinoceros, walked to Luo Qiao's side and quickly licked the corner of Luo Qiao's mouth.

When Luo Qiao subconsciously wanted to raise his paw to hit him, he turned around and walked in front. Jairo, who saw everything, winked at his brother and then looked back at Luo Qiao, successfully making Luo Qiao's footsteps slow down.

The cheetah father, who suddenly remembered what Parson was doing to him before the rhinoceros appeared, froze as if struck by lightning...

"What's wrong?"

Parson turned around and stopped when he saw that Luo Qiao didn't intend to follow.

"We must find a place to rest before dark. The three hyenas we met before were very strange. They must be outsiders. I'm afraid other hyenas will break in. This is my territory, you are not familiar with it, it will be very unsafe to take two cubs alone. Sleep with me tonight."

Sleep with me tonight...

Sleep with me...

Sleep together...

Luo Qiao's expression was too direct, so that Parson felt guilty even if he wanted to pretend to be confused.

"If you are worried about other things," Parson swept his meaningful eyes over Luo Qiao, "don't worry, I am also very particular about the atmosphere. If you don't want to, I won't mess with you."

Won't mess with him? He was already pressed to the ground, wasn't that messing with him?

Atmosphere?

With the sky as the curtain and the earth as the seat, can you be particular about it?

However, Parson's character still had a certain degree of integrity. At least tonight, Luo Qiao believed that he was "safe."

As for tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, the day after the day after tomorrow...

Let's talk about it after today.

Under the comfort of the Ah Q spirit, Luo Qiao followed Parson's footsteps. As for Luo Sen and Luo Rui, they would follow wherever their father went, and had no other thoughts at all.

Jairo walked up to Parson, flicked his tail, and blinked, "Brother admires you!"

"This is called wisdom!"

Jairo scoffed. What wisdom? It should be called cunning. If Jairo had spent more time with Luo Qiao, he would have found that there was a more suitable word for his brother, which was black-bellied.

Parson and Jairo took Luo Qiao and his sons to an abandoned termite mound. There were no trees or rocks to block the view, and there were no traces of other predators. It was a good place to sleep.

Luo Qiao lay on his side next to the termite mound. The two little cheetahs habitually leaned on Luo Qiao. The temperature at night on the grassland was very low, and the father and sons often leaned on each other to keep warm.

Luo Qiao quietly watched the sun slowly sink below the horizon, a bloody afterglow. Occasionally, a flying bird drew an image in the blood red.

The Masai pastoral song seemed to echo in his ears. Although only a few months had passed, the life of the previous life gradually blurred in his memory, as if a long century had passed.

Luo Qiao was fascinated. The two little cheetahs didn't quite understand why their father was staring at the sun. Was today's sun special?

The two little cheetahs got closer and whispered to each other with their heads touching.

"Brother, why is Dad staring at the sun?"

"I don't know either, what do you think?"

"Is it because today's sun looks like the yolk of an ostrich egg?"

Luo Sen tilted his head, "Ostrich egg?"

Luo Rui waved his little paw, "Dad must want to eat ostrich eggs, that's why he keeps staring at the sun!"

Luo Qiao slowly turned his head and looked at the two little cheetahs who were discussing enthusiastically. He suddenly felt weak all over.

Okay, what kind of sentimentality is this? In front of the two little cheetahs, it was directly slapped away with one paw, more fleeting than a cloud!

Luo Qiao raised his head and sighed helplessly. He simply put his two sons in his arms and rubbed them for a while. As for memories and sadness, let them go to hell.

He must have been too full to think about this and that. Absolutely!

As for ostrich eggs, are there ostrich eggs to eat at this time?

Well, I'll have to find some for my sons next time.

Parson and Jairo's resting place was on the other side of the termite mound. Although the brothers allowed Luo Qiao to enter their territory, and Parson was pursuing Luo Qiao, the cheetahs' natural alertness and habits still caused the cheetahs to instinctively keep a certain distance when resting.

Parson was resting on the grass, but Jairo suddenly laughed. Obviously, he had heard the conversation between Luo Sen and Luo Rui. Parson opened his eyes and looked at Luo Qiao not far away. Well, after hearing the conversation between the two cubs, he also wanted to laugh. He was indeed very remarkable to raise such two cubs to six months old.

Or, was it because he was raising them that the two cubs grew up like this?

However, he and Hida had the same mother, right? Was it because of their father that he had such a unique personality?

Hida, who was resting in an acacia forest, suddenly raised her head alertly. A female cheetah was quietly watching her a hundred meters away.

Hida immediately stood up, staring closely at the female cheetah, using her posture to indicate that this was the territory she occupied.

The female cheetah ignored Hida's warning and walked forward a few dozen meters, until the distance between the two sides was less than twenty meters.

The spots on the female cheetah's cheeks were clearly visible, and Hida finally recognized who the female cheetah was.

"Mom?"

"Hida, long time no see."

During this time, the leopard Monty had been feeling very bored.

Although it was the dry season, Monty didn't have to worry about food. Unlike cheetahs, leopards were the most adaptable of the big cats. They could hunt almost all edible species, from small beetles and lizards to large antelopes and wildebeests.

If they had the chance, a bird would also be a good snack. As long as they hid their prey in a tree that even lionesses couldn't reach, leopards could sleep peacefully.

Although they always came and went alone, leopards were still top predators second only to lions and hyenas, which was something that cheetahs couldn't match.

Monty, like all leopards, liked to hunt at night. He was a top killer lurking in the dark.

Tonight, the lion pride had caught a buffalo. The hyena pack had become insignificant, and small groups of three or five couldn't pose a threat to the lion pride at all.

Moreover, the male lion was nearby, and the lionesses and cubs could eat with peace of mind, without worrying about being disturbed.

Monty wouldn't rob the lion's prey. He would be crazy to do that.

His prey was a small group of hartebeests. This group of hartebeests was startled by the sound of the lion pride hunting and eating, and happened to run under the tree where Monty was.

They didn't realize at all that there was a leopard overhead. The night and the dense branches and leaves completely concealed Monty's figure.

The hartebeests gradually relaxed their vigilance, and Monty quietly climbed down from the tree. Before the hartebeests noticed, he jumped at the nearest female hartebeest. In the hartebeest's wailing, he bit her neck hard.

The hartebeest herd scattered and fled. They all knew that their companions had no chance of survival.

This was an adult female hartebeest. Even Monty couldn't easily drag her to a tree to hide her. Monty could only choose to eat some of the meat first to reduce the weight of the prey.

Just as jackals would become cheetahs' followers, hyenas also liked to get something for nothing, but they preferred to follow leopards.

In the dry season, leopards could always catch enough prey. As long as they snatched it away before the leopard dragged the prey up the tree, the hyenas could eat their fill.

Beatrice and other female leopards had the experience of being robbed by hyenas. They were not as big as male leopards and didn't have enough strength to fight against groups of hyenas, so they could only give up the prey they had obtained.

But the hyenas tonight had obviously miscalculated. If Monty was in a good mood, he might not care, but he hadn't been in a good mood recently, because the interesting evolved male cheetah hadn't appeared for a long time. Even though Monty had searched several times in the Oros lion pride and his own territory, he hadn't found Luo Qiao's trace.

This made the leopard Monty feel a little lost and a little annoyed. He rarely became so obsessed with a leopard, but the cheetah that aroused his interest was very likely to have left this territory. How could Monty be in a good mood?

These two stray hyenas happened to run into the muzzle of the gun. Monty stood up, lowered his head, and his sharp fangs were clearly visible in the night. The strong and tall male leopard obviously made the hyenas feel threatened.

The hyenas leaned against each other, raised their tails, and made sharp cries at Monty. Monty saw through the bluff of these two guys. He directly pounced on one of them, and his sharp front paws left bloodstains on the hyena.

When the hyena turned to escape, he bit off the hyena's spine in one bite, just like he treated Bank in the first place, letting the hyena that couldn't move wail in the grass, the sound getting lower and lower until it died.

The other hyena had long been scared away. Monty's mood finally improved a little. He walked back to his prey and continued to tear at it.

Where did that evolved cheetah go?

And the cheetah father who made Monty feel upset was hugging the two little cheetahs who were curled up in a ball and sleeping soundly.
